Victoria has been a student of metaphysics since the late 1950's and read Tarot since 1964. Like anyone who studies the spirituality of humanity, it had long been apparent to her that we are One World, One People. But that the Tarot she had been reading, loving, living with, reflected only a Western European metaphysical tradition. Early in this new century, dreams began implying that Tarot needed to expand to embrace the elemental metaphysical traditions of the One World she so loves. A handful of designers and adepts have had similar visions and attempted to exert an Eastern influence onto Tarot, designing decks with an Asian flavor. None, however, have actually incorporated the elements of the eastern traditions because the standard Tarot deck uses five elements. To incorporate the Eastern traditions means the invention of two new suits, which is exactly what Victoria has done.
